Take steps to prevent it

Cervical cancer is largely preventable by avoiding
its major risk factors and obtaining the vaccination
if you are eligible.

Refrain from sex at an early age and limit the number of sexual partners to reduce exposure to HPVs.

Use a latex condom to protect yourself from sexually transmitted diseases.

Have regular Pap screenings, and follow up on irregular findings.

Don’t smoke.

Get vaccinated if you are eligible.
