The disparity of cervical cancer




From 2000-2004, the incidence of cervical cancer in Hispanic women was 21 percent higher than that in blacks, and 62 percent higher than that in whites.

From 2000-2004, blacks died from cervical cancer at a rate almost 50 percent greater than Hispanics, and more than twice the rate in whites.
