What do you think the Boston police can do to improve their relationship to the community?

They need to be more cordial when they speak with the kids instead of trying to be authoritarian. They need to speak to people with respect. Keith Ellison

Instead of judging people by what they look like or where they’re from, they should try to talk to people like they’re human. They should connect kids with resources and be more in the streets than in their cars. Moise Neal

Help instead of hurt. I think they’re using way too much violence on innocent people. They need to change their search and seizure policies. Kyle

Do more community activities. I don’t think they’re really communicating with us.

When cops look at us, they look down on us. They’re always harassing people instead of looking at what’s really going on. Otis

I think they should try to stop profiling us. Every one of us can’t be guilty.
