Featured performers include the New Orleans artistic trio TREMÉ. Through a collage of trumpet, guitar, spoken-word, and song, spoken-word artist Asali DeVan, acoustic, reggae guitarist, Ben Hunter, and trumpeter Troy Sawyer honor the 300 year old neighborhood Tremé, known as the birthplace of Jazz, and therefore, the birthplace of American music.
