What do you think can be done to lower
auto insurance rates in Massachusetts?

I think it’s not possible. It’s always so expensive. The rates never get lower — they always go up.

The system is screwed up. We penalize drivers too often. Owning a car is so expensive in the city. They should get rid of the surcharges for moving violations. David Ortiz

The government should subsidize insurance rates. It’s the only way the rates will come down.

I think it should happen through the government. Maybe if there weren’t so many problems with the streets, we wouldn’t have so many accidents.

A complete evaluation of the system has to be done. It’s a shame that the poor are paying the highest rates and those with the most money pay the lowest rates. There has to be a more fair system.

Deregulation. Competition is always good. I think there should be some kind of government watchdog to make sure there is no discrimination based on where you live.
